Nicholas (Nick) Adam Mr. Adam was named Principal of J.P. Ryon Elementary in 2023. Prior to serving as Principal at Ryon, Mr. Adam served as Principal of Walter J. Mitchell for 5 years. Mr. Adam also served vice principal roles at William A. Diggs and Malcolm elementary. He began his career with Charles County Public Schools as a special education teacher at Eva Turner elementary in 2005. Mr. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science from Keuka College and a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction from McDaniel College. Mr. Adam is enthusiastic about his role as a leader, committed to supporting staff, students, and families, and is dedicated to serving the J.P. Ryon community. |

Jennifer Toone Jennifer Toone was named assistant principal at J.P. Ryon Elementary School in 2022. Prior to coming to J.P. Ryon, she was the learning resource teacher at Arthur Middleton Elementary School, the test coordinator at Maurice J. McDonough High School, and the math interventionalist and computer teacher at Mattawoman Middle School. Prior to joining Charles County Public Schools, Toone was a first-grade teacher in Montgomery County for four years. She completed her undergraduate studies at Murry State University in Kentucky. She also holds a master’s degree from University of Maryland, University College and earned an administration certificate through McDaniel College. |
